So if you remember this haul, I've got some sheet masks from Haruharu. After using them for a while I thought I'd do a review on them.
Honestly, whilst I am impressed and love the illustrations they do on the packaging, I'm not particularly impressed by this product.
Ingredients:
I'm not going to pretend that I know about the chemistry and most of what goes into the masks - it's not really until I started paying more attention to what I use because of the people I follow that I started noticing. I haven't found too much information about these masks online so I have (painstakingly) typed out the ingredient list for these mask below. Not going to say that I have them all spelled correctly because of how (painfully) small the text is on the packaging. I have bolded the bits that are not the same under the 3 different masks - moisture, vitality and lifting.
Moisture Mask:

So I am not going to pretend that I know even 10% of what goes in in these masks, but for those who are interested, the full list is above and I honestly welcome your thoughts on these ingredients.
For those just like me, basically the moisture mask consists of fruit extracts/juice and hylauronic acid, vitality consists of mainly root extracts, and the lifting masks consists of collagen and some fruit extract. The rest of the ingredients are more or less the same but what is surprising is that alcohols is present at the first line of both lifting and moisture mask. So now I am semi-freaking out, but some form of fatty alcohol is actually okay for the skin so benefit of the doubt. That being said, I will definitely be more cautious - buying online isn't always helpful because you can't always see the ingredients list (like I did).
Application
The one thing I like about these masks is how thin it is. They fit well on my face (remember, nose first, then the rest) and thin enough to stick/stay put on the face throughout the duration of having the mask on. Most of the serum is in the mask so you definitely feel like you have a lot of product on the mask. There is still some left, which you can apply on your neck and chest.
Efficacy
Natural progression from the ingredients... on to the efficacy.
Let me be straight, I really want to like these masks, but I don't. For the price, even if I got it on discount, I would still opt for another brand or another mask which might even be cheaper that does more than these do. I was so prepared to be wow-ed but wasn't; so perhaps I was too hyped about them because of the illustration and expected too much.
Specifically, I don't particularly feel that each of these mask have done much for me. Perhaps if I masked everyday with these I may feel the difference but frankly speaking, I definitely don't feel that these have really transformed my skin in any way. Looking at the ingredient list, these masks consist of mostly the same stuff, which probably explains why I didn't feel they differed much (I looked at the ingredients as I am writing this, at this point I have already used these masks several times because I have bought the 10-pack.
What's more disappointing is that these market/boast about the fermentation and horse fat aspect of it, but I have used horse fat/mayu mask and creams before and they have left my skin feeling more nourished than these.
As much as I really want to love these masks, I'm afraid I don't and maybe that is just me. There hasn't been a lot of reviews (or maybe I haven't looked hard enough) for these so I couldn't compare my skin type with other people who have wrote about this.
Price
I bought these from Cosmetic Jolse, and for a 10-pack they are sold at USD 24, currently USD 12 as they are on sale. I'm glad I have bought these when they were on sale otherwise I wouldn't be too happy spending the full price on these masks. I truly think that with the same price, you can find other masks that can do better.
The Verdict
That illustration wins my heart every time, but for the product itself I would give it a 2/5.
Points awarded for the thinness of the masks and that they do have interesting extracts, fermentation, horse fat in the product, and that it is comfortable to wear, there is a lot of product on the mask. But that is as far as I would go with these masks.
